Gia Tsagareishvili told Prime-News that the agiotage caused by his statement was directly connected to the establishment of a new party.
According to him, the government frequently disseminates such information. “Unfortunately, opposition often encourages them,” noted Tsagareishvili.
The MP refrained from answering question about his possible membership of Okruashvili’s party that presumably will be established in September. “Choice will be made in September, when we all sit round the table for negotiation,” stated Gia Tagareishvili.
Tsagareishvili, in an interview with the Georgian daily, Rezonansi, on August 27, also claimed that the party would have a firm power base in the parliament.
“Georgia without Saakashvili – is the major concept of the new party,” Tsagareishvili told Rezonansi. “We are currently working in various different directions and we will have a comprehensive platform.”
